Conference Main Theme
The overall theme of the conference is
“ Promoting Multidisciplinary Academic Research for Prosperity and Humanity”.
This theme is based on a real challenge that all fields of sciences and social sciences research are not growing at a same pace to respond the innovation demands of the current era. Due to this some of the fields are for behind than others in advancing the knowledge and serving the humanity. This multidisciplinary platform is established for bridging the gap and sharing the research across different fields to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration. This enhanced collaboration will result in equal growth of research and practice in all fields. It is believed that only collective growth can help the fields to serve the society in a better way and to respond emerging demands of innovation era and for sustainable development of humankind.

Dr. Achmad Manshur Ali Suyanto, Ir., MBA., DBA
Dr. Achmad Manshur Ali Suyanto holds a PhD in Marketing (Southern Cross University – Australia) and he joined Telkom University as lecturer in marketing and strategic management since 2010. He begin his career as employee in Telkom Indonesia for 25 years. His initial background is MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Telkom University and he is a BSc in Engineering from Intitute Teknologi Sepuluh November- Surabaya (ITS). Now, He is 3rd vice rector of Telkom University (Deputy Vice Chancellor III) and regarded as a admission and International collaborator in Telkom University. Under his supervision right now Telkom University has already had 15 collaboration with foreign Universities around the world (Europea, Australia and Asia). His research interest in management, Strategic Business and marketing has already contributed research on this area and has already been presented in many international conferences, workshops, seminars and Training. By his 25 years experiences in Telkom Indonesia as professional and also as academician, he will share his thoughts in this forum regarding enhancement and challenges for university by multidisciplinary research and practice for facing Asean Economic Community 2014and Globalization 2020.

Professor & Dr. Syed Tahir Hijazi is Ex. Dean at College of Business Administration, American University in The Emirates, Dubai UAE. He is regarded as leading international economist and reputed advocate of innovation in academia. His contribution for promotion of research excellence and academic innovation are recognized at international level. Dr. Hijazi has been in leading positions formerly across many countries including USA, Greece, Pakistan, and UAE. He has been involved in research and development activities with World Bank, ADB, ILO, USAID, UNDP and several other global level institutions. He is among the main advisers of Global Illuminators International. His research contributions are wider and impactful for the scholars and researchers in the multidisciplinary fields. He is among the top advocates of promoting multidisciplinary research and practice for better service of humanity. He is on the advisory boards of several countries for development of innovation infrastructure to help in growth of knowledge based economies. His 35 years of rich academic and research experience along with visionary leadership for innovation and excellence makes him an ideal scholar to share his thoughts regarding innovation challenges in multidisciplinary research and practice.
