Professor. Dr. Husaini, MPH is a Senior Professor of Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Medicine at Lambung Mangkurat University, Indonesia delivered a keynote speech at Conference ITMAR, October 20-021 2017, Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated his Doctoral Program of Health and Medicine Science in Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. His major research interests include case study and experimental research on the environmental health, occupational health, and health policy sectors. He is an active member of several professional organizations such as Indonesian Public Health Union Kalimantan Selatan Region, and as an Executive Director of Center of Public Health Policy in Lambung Mangkurat University, Indonesia. His keynote speech was related to “The Era of Decentralization and Democracy as A Challenge in The Health Sector Development (Case Study of Indonesia)” and he discussed in his speech that Decentralization era in Indonesia is expected to make society more prosperous, healthier and also discussed different aspects of Decentralization and Democracy.
